Kina-Salal, gin, maraschino, root beer bitters. Local bartender extraordinaire, Mike Norbury whipped up this lovely creation and it might just be our favorite cocktail of 2020! I highly recommend you try this one at home!

Our favorite cocktail of 2020 using the infamous Kina-Rouge! Kina-Salal works as a good sub too ;)
Ingredients
1.75 oz (53 mL) London Dry Gin / Stillhead Distillery
1 oz (30 mL) Kina-Rouge or Kina-Salal / Esquimalt
1/4 oz (7 mL) Maraschino Liqueur / Okanagan Spirits

3 dashes Root Beer Bitters / Rootside Bitters
Lemon oil expressed from a lemon peel
Directions
Add ingredients to an ice filled mixing glass
Stir until chilled
Strain into a couple glass
Garnish with lemon oil be squeezing a lemon peel over the drink to express all of the oils onto the surface of the drink
