A traditional French 75 calls for fresh lemon juice and sugar; two of the primary ingredients in our lemonade mix. The whole rosehips and hibiscus flowers add a whole other layer while complementing the sparkling wine wonderfully.
Prior to the 1980s/90s, the French 75 cocktail was a long drink, served in an ice-filled Collins glass. This modern flute serve has become the usual serve with the Collins version now all but forgotten – Difford’s Guide

Ingredients
-
2 oz (60ml) Rootside Rosehip Lemonade Mix
-
1 oz (30ml) Roots and Wings’ Jackknife Gin
-
3 oz (90ml) Sparkling Wine (a sparkling Rosé is a great option!)
Directions
Add the first two ingredients into a shaker filled with ice.
Shake until chilled and strain into a champagne flute.
Top with sparkling wine and garnish with a lemon twist.
