Palmer's Spiced Apple, Lemon Tonic Bitters, Gin and Lime Cordial. Everyone jokes about young twenty somethings drinking appletinis and tini this and tini that without really much relation to the classic, original and almighty Gin Martini , but what if we could make an Appletini, but fancy and like, really delicious. The original spec for an Appletini using vodka, sour apple liqueur and lime cordial, which is kind of like a appley version of a vodka gimlet. But vodka is well, a bit dull, it's just booze and nothing but, gin is always better. So what if we made a apple gin martini / gin gimlet hybrid? It would still stay true to the original Appletini spec, but boy oh boy this is gonna be a lovely love child of a drink! Try it, you wont regret it.

Sidenote: Rose's Lime Cordial, you can buy it for cheap at pretty much any grocery store, is one of those rare instances where making fresh isn't better. There's just something about Rose's that makes a gimlet just sing all the right notes. So that's what we'll be using here. It's an Appletini afterall, we dont wanna get toooooo fancy ;)
If you don't have the Lemon Tonic Bitters , you could omit them or perhaps sub with Orange Bitters, will still be good either way!
If you want a lower ABV cocktail with more apple flavour, you could also play with the gin to spice apple ratio and do more spiced apple and less gin.
Ingredients

1.5 oz (45 mL) Gin / Ampersand Distilling Co.

1.5 oz (45 mL) Palmer’s Spiced Apple / Esquimalt

0.5 oz (15 mL) Lime Cordial / Rose’s

2 dashes Lemon Tonic Bitters / Rootside Bitters
Directions
Stir all ingredients until well chilled and stain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a dehydrated apple slice or a thin slice of fresh apple. Enjoy!
